After much reading and participation in courses, I could observe that technology grows on an exponential scale. After participating in the innovation program at NASA's Singularity University (SU) and listening to trends in a wide variety of industries, I was able to have only one certainty: 90% of companies will change how they act in 3 years or less, acquiring technologies that need computational infrastructure to run a new software with ERP, Database, artificial intelligence algorithms or even to mine the digital coins.
The search for more powerful servers and processors will be increasingly higher and the demand to purchase with the objective of increasing their own infrastructure (data center), either by outsourcing the operation or by using a cloud computing service.
The quest for continuous improvement is rooted in the history of mankind and in relation to technology this change is faster than we can keep up with. Today we are talking about Quantum computers, which have a much greater capacity compared to traditional computers, even if by using a fraction of their capacity they would still be able to solve calculations that a super powerful machine would take ages to answer.
Check out the trends you should keep an eye on regarding Cloud Computing:
We are entering a new era in which cloud providers will optionally possess quantum circuit machines, using qubits to process data and perform calculations for their customers.
Every day, people try to understand more about technologies and notice the current scenario of Industries 4.0. Keeping infrastructure on premises is becoming more costly and unnecessary. Why not save money by migrating the old internal infrastructure to the cloud and still use the resources to innovate in what will really provide a competitive advantage to the company?
Companies that are innovating and bringing in new software, make data consumption increase exponentially, in addition to the volume of users that increases with each passing day.
New markets are emerging due to the technology that demand more and more computer resources such as: IoT, Virtual Reality, New Currencies, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, among others.
We already talked about a multiple cloud administration system. Multi-cloud will be resource management as a single, cohesive infrastructure, even when using two or more distinct players that deliver cloud services.
